These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of products from CLAUSS Concept. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Our Products
We aim to present our products, materials, colours, dimensions and finishes as accurately as possible.
However, many CLAUSS Concept products incorporate natural materials and handcrafted elements. Variations in wood grain, colour, texture, stone pattern, cane, fabric and other natural materials may occur and are part of the individual character of each piece.
Colours may also appear slightly different depending on your screen, device settings and lighting conditions.
Such natural and reasonable variations do not, by themselves, constitute defects.
Product dimensions are provided as accurately as reasonably possible. Minor variations may occur, particularly in handcrafted products.
Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights where a product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or does not conform to the contract.
3. Orders
By placing an order through our website, you confirm that the information you provide is complete and accurate and that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.
After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including in cases of:
- incorrect pricing or product information;
- suspected fraud or unauthorised payment;
- product unavailability;
- inability to deliver to the selected destination; or
- an obvious technical or administrative error.
If payment has already been collected for an order that we cancel, the relevant amount will be refunded to the original payment method.
4. Prices & Payment
Prices are displayed in the currency indicated on our website.
Applicable taxes, shipping charges and other charges will be shown during checkout where applicable.
For international orders, customs duties, import taxes or other governmental charges may apply depending on the destination country and the applicable delivery arrangement. Where such charges are not included in the checkout price, this will be communicated before the order is completed where required by applicable law.
We will not impose undisclosed mandatory charges after an order has been placed.

5. Shipping & Delivery
We ship to selected destinations displayed on our website.
Estimated delivery times may vary depending on the product, destination, production schedule and logistics provider.
Any estimated delivery date or timeframe shown on our website or communicated after purchase is an estimate unless expressly stated otherwise.
Where applicable law establishes mandatory delivery requirements, those requirements will apply.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and ensuring reasonable access to the delivery location.

6. Receiving Your Order
Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
If an item arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, please contact us promptly at info@claussconcept.com and include your order number, a description of the issue and, where possible, photographs showing the condition of the product and packaging.
We will assess the issue and provide an appropriate solution in accordance with applicable consumer law.
7. Returns & Right of Withdrawal
Our returns are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.
Where applicable, consumers purchasing online may have a statutory right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods without providing a reason.
CLAUSS Concept may offer return conditions that are more favourable than the statutory minimum. Where our Returns & Refunds Policy provides additional rights, those additional rights will apply in accordance with that policy.
Where CLAUSS Concept has stated that it will cover eligible return shipping costs, those costs will be covered in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Products must be returned in accordance with the instructions provided by our customer service team.
8. Made-to-Order & Personalised Products
Some CLAUSS Concept products may be produced according to a customer's individual specifications, including certain customised dimensions, finishes, fabrics, colours or other personalised configurations.
Where permitted by applicable law, products made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised may be excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal.
This does not affect your rights where a personalised or made-to-order product is defective, damaged or does not conform to the agreed specifications.
We will clearly indicate where a product is made-to-order or personalised before purchase where relevant.
The EU Consumer Rights Directive specifically provides an exception to the withdrawal right for goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised.
9. Refunds
Where a return is accepted, refunds will be processed in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Approved refunds will normally be issued to the original payment method.
Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.
Your statutory refund rights under applicable consumer law remain unaffected.
10. Legal Guarantee & Product Conformity
Customers may have statutory rights where goods are defective, damaged, not as described or otherwise fail to conform to the sales contract.
For consumers protected by applicable EU consumer law, goods are generally covered by a minimum two-year legal guarantee, although national legislation may provide additional protection.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, remedies may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.
Any voluntary commercial warranty offered by CLAUSS Concept is additional to, and does not replace or reduce, mandatory statutory rights.
11. Product Care
Furniture should be used and maintained in accordance with its intended purpose and any care instructions supplied with the product or published on our website.
Damage resulting from misuse, accidents, inappropriate cleaning products, improper storage, abnormal environmental conditions or normal wear and tear may not constitute a product defect.

Nothing in this section excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Intellectual Property
All content on the CLAUSS Concept website, including photographs, product images, designs, graphics, logos, text, branding and other creative materials, is owned by or licensed to CLAUSS Concept unless otherwise stated.
Such content may not be reproduced, distributed, modified, commercially exploited or otherwise used without prior written permission from CLAUSS Concept, except where permitted by applicable law.
13. Website Availability
We aim to keep our website accurate and available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access at all times.
We may update, modify or temporarily suspend parts of the website where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, technical or operational reasons.
14. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, CLAUSS Concept will not be liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable at the time the contract was concluded or for losses resulting from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
These Terms do not exclude or restrict mandatory consumer rights or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
15. Events Beyond Our Reasonable Control
We will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, severe weather, transportation disruptions, governmental restrictions, strikes, customs disruptions or other comparable circumstances.
Where such an event materially affects an order, we will take reasonable steps to inform the customer and minimise the impact.
This provision does not remove any mandatory rights available to consumers under applicable law.

17. Governing Law & Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer residing in a country to which CLAUSS Concept directs its commercial activities, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory protections that you are entitled to under the law that would otherwise apply to your consumer contract.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to restrict statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be waived or excluded.
